What is VUELO Ostomy Bag Gelling Agent?
VUELO Ostomy Bag Gelling Agent is intended to improve quality of life among ostomy patients.
The Gelling Agent’s acrylic polymer granules provide a high absorption capacity that causes liquids present in the ostomy bag to be formed into a gel.
These capsules contain essential lavender oil, which provides a more pleasant aroma to the contents of the ostomy bag.
Transform liquid feces into a gel inside any ostomy pouching model/system.
After emptying, cleaning or changing the ostomy bag, insert one or more Vuelo Gelling Agent capsules into the pouch. It is not necessary to open the capsules.
Each capsule absorption capacity is up to 100ml. This means that ostomy patients can administer the capsules according to the capacity of the bag and their hygiene routine.
When in contact with liquid/effluent it will dissolve, forming into a gel, reducing odor or possible leakages.
In case of irritation, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest the Gelling Agent.
